This journey combines a short stay in a private concession of the Kruger National Park, with a longer stay in Mozambique. You will have an opportunity to view excellent game sightings and to relax on white sanded beaches. The local flights are included, as well as all your meals and selected activities, making this trip the prefect fit to enjoy your holidays without any worry. Both the wildlife on land and in the ocean will make for the most amazing souvenirs.

Itineraries

Day 1

Fly to the Kruger Park

Arrive at Johannesburg airport on time to connect with the domestic flight to Nelspruit (MQP) located not too far from the Kruger Park. You are then transferred by road inside the Park and within a private concession. Check in at Jock Safari Lodge Main Camp and relax before the afternoon game drive. As the very first private concession granted within Kruger National Park, Jock Safari Lodge is an original safari legend. Located in Kruger’s southern region, where the Mitomeni and Biyamiti rivers meet to become one, it will feel like you’re stepping back to South Africa’s gold rush era. Back at the lodge on time for a hearty dinner and a good night sleep.

Day 2

Game viewing

Today you can experience a morning and an evening game drive. Traversing through the concession, the wildlife is sometimes staggering in its diversity. Enthralling sightings of elephants, prides of lions as well as a sea of buffalo horns rising from the grass as they lie resting in the growing heat, awaits one. At dusk, a vantage point is chosen to overlook one of the many breath-taking views of the Kruger National Park. Sundowners are enjoyed while tales of the bush are told and a glimpse of what this unique wilderness has to offer is seen while being entranced by the ever-changing colors of the sky as the sun slips into the timeslot of tomorrow. Your meals are enjoyed at the camp and you have a few hours to relax by the pool, or read a book on your deck.

Day 3

Fly to Mozambique

Early breakfast before the road transfer back to Nelspruit airport on time for the scheduled fixed wing plane transfer to Maputo. From here, a representative will meet you for your road transfer to the White Pearl Resort, where you will be spending the next four nights. Welcome to paradise! Nestled in a sheltered bay on Mozambique’s Lagoon Coast, poised amongst the dunes on timber stilts, the resort has been sensitively designed to take advantage of the natural setting, while protecting the fragile eco-system. Cool, clean lines, contemporary furniture and a palette inspired by the surrounding coastal landscape, make for a superb getaway. Your meals and selected beverages are included, as well as some resort activities,. Chat to the resort manager and plan your days, as per your preferences.

Day 4-6

Beach stay

Your days are filled with the activities, or simply relax on the beach, it is your own choice. Back at the resort, stretch out on one of the comfortable loungers while you indulge in a refreshing cocktail with views over the great expanse of ocean and white sands. Enjoy your meals on the wide deck soaking up the sun and dinners are served al-fresco as you listen to the sound of the waves breaking nearby. You can also spend some time snorkeling the rich sea life around Ponta Mamoli, as you will feel you have been transported into a giant natural aquarium. Discover spectacular underwater displays of colorful corals and lively fish as you float in the azure waters of the Indian Ocean.

Departure

Today you check out of the resort and will be transferred by road to Maputo Airport where you can then connect to your onward flight/journey (an optional transfer by helicopter can be arranged at an additional cost). Contact us to extend your trip or to book a return flight to Johannesburg.
