  Day 1

  South Luangwa National Park

  Arrive in Lusaka at 2:30 pm. Depart Lusaka to Mfuwe (P00802) at ETD 4:00 pm/ETA 5:10 pm. It will take about 35 minutes from Mfuwe Airport to the camp. On arrival at Lusaka Airport, you will be met by a representative from Falcon Safaris who will greet you and direct you to check in on your onward flight to Mfuwe. On arrival at Mfuwe Airport, you are met by the lodge guide from Flat Dogs Camp who will drive you to camp. The drive is a game drive on its own as wildlife can be spotted. Your guide will make stops as you go to the camp. Flat Dogs Camp is situated just outside of the South Luangwa National Park in a riverside forest on the banks of the Luangwa River overlooking the park. The Luangwa National Park is one of the most prolific and bountiful parks covering an area of 9000sq km (3,475 sq miles) of pristine wilderness in Zambia's Eastern Province.

  Day 2

  South Luangwa National Park

  You meet before the morning safari at 5:30 pm for a light breakfast of tea, coffee, toast, and cereals. Then head out on the morning drive at 6:00 am. Return to the camp just after 10:00 am. In the afternoon, you meet for tea at 3:30 pm, then leave on the afternoon drive at around 4:00 pm. Afterwards, return to the camp just after 8:00 pm when the park gate closes.

  Day 3

  South Luangwa National Park

  The timings are pretty much the same every day. If you want to try a walking safari, you will do these in the mornings from 6:00 am -10:00 am but there is some driving involved, as you will need to drive into the park from camp to find a good spot. You'll meet before the morning safari at 5:30 am for some light breakfast of tea and coffee, toast and cereals, then head out on the morning drive at 6:00 am. Return to the camp just after 10:00 am. Then in the afternoon, you meet for tea at 3:30 pm, then leave on the afternoon drive at around 4:00 pm, returning to camp just after 8:00 pm when the park gate closes.

  Day 4

  Lower Zambezi National Park

  Transfer to Mfuwe Airport for your onward flight to Lower Zambezi National Park. You'll have time for one last activity early in the morning before your transfer to Mfuwe Airport. Mfuwe – Lusaka ETD 12:45 pm / ETA 1:55 pm Lusaka – Royal Airstrip ETD 3:40 pm / ETA 4:45 pm Airstrip transfer time: 20 minutes from Royal Airstrip to the camp. Chongwe River Camp is situated on the confluence of the Chongwe and Zambezi Rivers, directly opposite Mana. The Chongwe River is the boundary of the Lower Zambezi National Park, a 4000sq km sanctuary, teeming with game and considered to be one of Africa’s most picturesque wilderness areas. Enormous herds of elephants are often seen at the river’s edge. The park also hosts large populations of lions, leopards, and wild dogs. The Chongwe River demarcates the western boundary of the park. Furthermore, one does not have to leave the camp to see and hear a wide variety of wildlife.

  Lower Zambezi National Park

  Again you will meet at around 5:30 pm/6:00 pm for some light breakfast before going on game drives. For night drives, you will meet for tea and light snacks before departing at around 4:00 pm and only returning back to the camp at around 8:00 pm in time for dinner. Depending on the number of nights you have, you can also choose to do walking safaris, morning and sunset river cruises, canoeing, fishing and cultural village trips.

  Again you will meet at around 5:30 am/6:00 am for some light breakfast before going on game drives. You can also choose to do walking safaris, morning and sunset river cruises, canoeing, fishing, and cultural village trips.

  Livingstone, Victoria Falls

  Transfer to Royal Airstrip for your onward flight to Livingstone, Victoria Falls. Again, you'll have time for one last activity early in the morning before your transfer to Mfuwe Airport. Royal Airstrip – Lusaka: ETD 1:20 pm/ ETA 1:55 pm Lusaka – Livingstone ETD 4:10 pm/ ETA 5:20 pm Airport transfer time: 20 minutes from Livingstone Airport to the hotel. The Zambezi Sun Hotel is located on the Eastern side of Victoria Falls (one of the Seven Wonders of the World) on the Zambian side. The resort complex is built along the edge of the Zambezi River and guests have direct access to Victoria Falls on foot.

  Livingstone, Victoria Falls

  You are met by a Falcon Safaris guide at 9:00 am for a guided tour of Victoria Falls on the Zambian Side. This is followed by a short helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, ensuring that you have the best of both views, on land and from the air. In the afternoon, you will go on a true African experience, the elephant back ride safari. You'll return back to the hotel early in the evening in time to freshen up and have a lovely dinner at the hotel.
