This is a trip that focuses primates of Uganda majorly Mountain Gorillas and Chimpanzees with a stay at the most beautiful Lake Bunyonyi. it takes you to Kibale, the forest known for not only a huge presence of primates, 13 species but a premium chimpanzee tracking. It is crowned by a stay at the most beautiful lake in Africa.

    Day 1

    Drive to Kibale for Chimpanzee tracking
    Today, you will drive south to the jungle of Kibale best known as the primate capital of the world with about 13 species of primates. You will have lunch along the way. You can choose to relax at the lodge or take a guided walk in the community after the long drive. Dinner and overnight stay in the beautiful eucalyptus forest.

    Day 2

    Chimpanzee tracking & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP
    After an early breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National Park a tropical rainforest or you can call it the Primate Capital of the world with 13 species of primates and check in for a briefing. You will later on be divided into small groups and enter the forest with a Park ranger. This activity usually takes around three hours including a full hour of their company. You are advised to carry enough drinking water. After the activity, you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable NP for the gorilla adventure.

    Day 3

    Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable NP, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
    After an early breakfast, you will drive to the briefing point in the forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to get to be enlightened about your adventure with the Mountain Gorillas. You are advised to carry enough drinking water and a lunch box. At a cost of 15 US dollars, you can get a potter to carry your bag and give you a hand in slippery or steep parts of the forest. After the briefing, you are distributed into groups of eight and led by a park ranger into the forest where you will spend one hour with the gentle giants. A rain gear is important considering that Bwindi is a tropical rainforest. You will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi where you will take a swim in Uganda’s most beautiful lake, enjoy nature or explore surrounding communities.

    Day 4

    Drive to Entebbe and Departure
    After your stay at the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, you will drive back to Entebbe International Airport. You will have an opportunity to cross the Equator and do some souvenir shopping. Should you feel that you need to stay a little longer or do an extra activity, this is possible at an extra cost.
