Overview

Spend 3 nights in a unique treehouse in the Klaserie private reserve, known for its exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities, including frequent sightings of the Big Five and other rare and endangered species. You will spend your days enjoying game drives with knowledgeable guides with outstanding trackers as you explore the Klaserie and its rich diversity of wildlife. The nThambo Tree Camp has splendid views from each elevated room and it is not uncommon to spot animals from your deck.

Itineraries

Day 1-3

Hoedspruit Airport to nThambo Tree Camp

You will be transferred from Hoedspruit Airport through the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve in an open-game viewer vehicle or minivan. Spend 3 nights in a unique treehouse at the small, intimate nThambo Tree Camp. Rooms are stilted wooden chalets, under thatch, with canvas walls, that offer guests beautiful views of the plain and small waterhole in front of the camp, as well as the Drakensberg mountain range in the distance. Each room has a simple ensuite bathroom and a small sitting space at the front of the room. The camp is unfenced which allows animals to roam through the camp, especially the elephants who like to drink from the small pool. The main area has a comfy lounge, bar and the boma is the place to be at night swapping stories around the fire. Experience the thrill of morning and afternoon game drives and short guided bush walks, all while surrounded by the stunning beauty of the African bushveld.
